✨ You chose each other. You chose this. Now plan it like it deserves.
Eloping isn't the easy way out. It's the intentional way in. And planning the most personal day of your life — in a national park, on a mountain, on a beach, in a forest at sunrise — takes its own kind of planning. Not 150 tasks about venue coordinators and seating charts. A focused, beautiful system built for two people who know exactly what they want.
The Elopement & Adventure Wedding Blueprint from Palm & Blossom is the only planning spreadsheet built from the ground up for adventurous couples eloping outdoors. Nine tabs. Every detail you actually need. Nothing you don't.

🏔️ WHAT'S INSIDE — 9 TABS
Tab 01 · Elopement HQ
All your details in one beautiful command center — couple information (exactly as on your IDs for the marriage license), elopement date, location, style, vision, accommodation, and your key contacts including photographer, officiant, park ranger, and witnesses.
Tab 02 · Location Scouting Guide
12 questions for each of 5 outdoor elopement location types — National Park / Public Land, Private Forest / Woodland, Beach / Waterfront, Urban / Rooftop, and Private Venue / Estate / Airbnb. Includes the National Park permit deep-dive: permit applications, drone photography permissions, tripod equipment policies, Leave No Trace flower rules, crowd timing, and backup location planning. This is the tab that prevents the most common elopement disasters.
Tab 03 · Legal & Permits
Marriage license requirements, waiting periods, ID documents, officiant legality verification, witness requirements, National Park permit applications, drone permit research, and post-ceremony steps — all in one checklist with status dropdowns and responsibility columns.
Tab 04 · Planning Timeline
45+ elopement-specific tasks organized from 6 months before through post-elopement — including tasks no generic planner covers: sunrise timing research, trail condition checks, seasonal weather pattern research, permit application deadlines, vow writing milestones, and post-elopement announcement planning.
Tab 05 · Budget Tracker
19 categories sized for real elopement budgets ($3K–$15K) — photography-first prioritization, permit fees, marriage license fees, drone permit costs, adventure gear, celebration dinner, and gratuities. Auto-calculating totals and balance due columns. Edit your budget cap once, watch everything update.
Tab 06 · Photography Brief (The tab that makes a good elopement great)
Send this to your photographer 4 weeks before your elopement. 12 must-have shot list items written specifically for adventure elopements — the approach shot, the first look, the landscape-with-you-tiny frame, the post-ceremony walk out, and golden hour portraits. Plus 10 adventure-specific questions to ask before you book: terrain comfort, equipment transport, drone certification, sunrise/sunset recommendations, and more.
Tab 07 · Adventure Pack Checklist
Everything to pack across 5 categories: Legal & Documents (marriage license in a waterproof bag, permits, vow cards), Attire & Beauty (broken-in shoes, waterproof mascara, touch-up kit), Outdoor & Adventure Gear (layers, rain jacket, emergency mylar blanket, first aid), Essentials (water, real food, battery bank, bluetooth speaker, offline maps), and Tech & Logistics. Checkbox dropdowns on every item.
Tab 08 · Vow Writing Guide
8 prompts written specifically for outdoor elopements — including one that asks you to acknowledge where you are ("Why here? Why this mountain, this water, this light?"). Structure guide, length recommendations (60–90 seconds / 150–250 words), printing tips for outdoor conditions, and a full vow writing space. Because when it's just the two of you, the vows are everything.
Tab 09 · Day-Of Timeline
Your complete elopement day from breakfast through the post-ceremony walk out and first night as a married couple. Pre-filled with a realistic sample timeline — getting ready, the journey, arriving, the ceremony, portraits, adventure shots, and celebration. Blank rows to customize. Notes column with practical reminders on every row.

⭐ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I really need a permit for a National Park elopement?
Yes — most National Parks require a Special Use Permit for any organized event, which includes elopements with a photographer. These often book out 6+ months in advance. Tab 02 walks you through exactly what to research and ask. Tab 03 has a full permit checklist.
Does my state allow self-solemnization (no officiant required)?
Some states do (Colorado is famous for this). Tab 03 guides you to research this for your specific state — and helps you verify your officiant is legally authorized if you do need one.
What if my elopement is more intimate than "adventure" — just a simple outdoor ceremony?
Perfect — this planner works for any scale of outdoor elopement from a 10-minute sunrise ceremony to a half-day adventure with a hike. You can skip any tabs or rows that don't apply.
Is this different from your Micro Wedding Blueprint?
Completely different product for a completely different buyer. The Micro Wedding Blueprint is for couples with up to 30 guests coordinating a venue, guest list, and multi-vendor event. This is for couples who want it to be just the two of them — or close to it — outdoors, intentionally, without the wedding apparatus. Different tabs, different tasks, different soul.
Can I share this with my photographer to brief them?
Yes — Tab 06 is designed to be shared. In Google Sheets you can share your copy directly with your photographer and they can read (but not edit) your brief.
What if I'm planning a destination elopement abroad?
Check out our Destination Wedding Blueprint for the international + legal requirements angle. The Elopement Blueprint focuses on domestic outdoor elopements. Both are available in our shop.
